Financing Options

As part of our ongoing commitment to our customers, we are pleased to offer a variety of ways in which to assist you in the purchase of our Pans.

Customers may trade in their current instrument towards the purchase of a new instrument, they may apply for direct financing through Panyard, Inc., or they may qualify for a lease-to-own agreement through LFCI, a specialist financing company with experience in the music industry.

Trade-Ins

This has proven to be an extremely popular choice. Customers send in their current instruments for us to evaluate. Based on our extensive knowledge of the Pan industry, we are able to make a fair assessment of the market value of their instrument, and to make them an appropriate offer. The value of the traded-in pan goes towards the purchase price of the new instrument.

Many times the customer has already received their new Solid Hoop pan prior to them sending in their old instrument. This way, they are not without a pan for any period of time.

Please note that due to the large variances in the quality of steeldrums, we are not in a position to make an offer on any instrument without having seen and played it first hand.

Direct Financing

If you have been a long-term customer of Panyard, Inc., we may be able to offer you direct financing for your new instrument. Typically, this takes the form of a fairly substantial downpayment, followed by a number of regular payments over an agreed period of time. This option may also be combined with a trade-in, where the value of the traded-in instrument goes towards the downpayment.

Please note that this option is only available to qualified individuals. Details may be obtained by contacting us and discussing your particular circumstances.

Financing through LFCI

Many schools find that it is much easier to make regular small payments over a period of time, instead of having to come up with a large single payment. LFCI is a company that specialises in lease-to-own financing - at the end of the lease you get to keep the equipment!

LFCI has fifteen years experience in the music industry. They offer lease-to-own financing for approved, registered businesses. Their website has more information, including a lease payment calculator. If you know what monthly payment you can afford, you can use the calculator to figure out how much you can borrow.
